About the Role:

Job Summary

Entry level position responsible for support, implementation, repair, and maintenance of Network wired, wireless, and security infrastructure/applications, including: routing, switching, IPS/IDS, firewalls, B2B VPN, remote access VPN, network access control, application delivery, WAF, RF management, BLE, RTLS location services, advanced data center overlay technologies, cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure), WAN/SDWAN technologies (including satellite, cellular, and broadband), UPS technologies, and DDI. This position must be able to demonstrate each of the job specific skills and abilities listed.

Minimum Job Qualifications

• Educational Requirements: High School Diploma

• Minimum Experience: 2+ years experience supporting critical IT infrastructure in a highly available 24x7 environment, such as Desktop support or Field Service support.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

• Order/repair replacement equipment and supplies and prepare requisition forms for new/replacement equipment

• Perform basic problem isolation within the network infrastructure and applications

• Creates technical documentation for infrastructure solutions

• Ensure the security of the system by driving standards and policies across all applicable technology towers

• Assist with new network infrastructure and applications deployment

• Coordinate and collaborate with vendors on repair and maintenance of various network systems and their components

• Assists Network Engineers with projects and deployments

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of all network services and systems

• Responsible for collaborating with Field Services team, Communication Systems team, and Facilities team on cabling and IDF management

• And all other duties as assigned by the Unified Communications Manager and/or the IT Network & Telecommunications Supervisor
