SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Nyes Road Suite E office cares for heart and vascular patients. This office typically sees 90 patients a day and operates Monday through Friday. No weekends or holidays featured in this position!

The hired registered nurse will work with a group of providers and assist with daily patient needs and triaging patients over the phone. The RN will also perform administrative tasks including prior authorizations, insurance authorizations, requesting records, form completion, patient education, EMR documentation, and daily crash cart check.  At times the RN will also assist with IV placement for echocardiograms or exercise stress echocardiograms. Occasionally the RN will assist with rooming patients or performing 12 lead EKGs as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing 
• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  
• One (1) year experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting required
• BLS/ACLS required 
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• Cardiology, heart and vascular experience preferred
