LOCATION: 143 15th Street Suite 1 Brooklyn, NY 11215; Park Slope PSC
HOURS: 7:30am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday and 8:00am - 12:30pm; Saturday Only (week day off to be determined)
FULL TIME: Benefits eligible

In this role you will:

• Obtain blood specimens and collect non-blood specimens such as urine, sputum, and throat swabs for laboratory testing

• Check the test requisition or computer label to assure correctness and completeness prior to collecting sample

• Follow all safety, infection control, and OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen guidelines

• Process specimens to prepare them for laboratory testing

• Ensure the Patient Service Center is clean, tidy and presentable

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Phlebotomy certification

• At least 6 months experience, required

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
