The associate is competent to provide clerical support to nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team. The associate is responsible for monitoring the nurses? station ensuring a healing environment for patients and their family members. The associate must also promote a healthy work environment for staff. The Unit Secretary must be flexible, efficient, and accurate in carrying out the role.
