Position Summary
Donor Relations Specialist
The Donor Relations Specialist, reporting to the Director of Donor Relations, is a key member of the Engagement, Stewardship, and Donor Relations team. This role is responsible for managing a comprehensive donor recognition program across the Phoenix Children’s Health System, ensuring meaningful and impactful engagement with donors at all levels.
The Specialist will lead the recognition strategy and execution, including:
?Integrating recognition elements into proposals and impact reports.
?Managing annual digital donor walls, naming opportunities, plaque design, and installations.
?Coordinating milestone and anniversary acknowledgments.
?Developing digital and print donor touchpoints, annual branded recognition items, auxiliary gifts, and special occasion acknowledgments.
This position also provides project management oversight for recognition initiatives and collaborates with the broader team to align recognition efforts with the Foundation’s integrated stewardship strategy. The Specialist will bring strategic and creative expertise to strengthen donor relationships and support the Foundation’s mission to advance healthcare for children and families.
Working in close collaboration with leadership, the Specialist I assists in the development and implementation of many aspects of multiple programs that align with hospital’s mission and support the Foundation’s goals. Working independently, the Specialist I may be in charge of overseeing program/project execution that could include staffing, volunteers, budget and fundraising goals from start to finish. This position may also be responsible for special events that publicize the organization and its programs to the community. Position may have direct and/or indirect oversight of lower-level staff members and/or volunteers.
Education
- Bachelor?s degree in related field or equivalent experience. (Required)

- 3 years of related experience in related specialty. (Required)
