We are seeking a skilled Trauma Surgeon to join our team in the trauma surgery department of our Trauma Center. Our Trauma surgeons will provide services to the acutely injured patient across the care continuum, from the trauma bay to the intensive care unit and floor.

Clinicians care for critically ill patients with traumatic injury, respiratory failure, severe arrhythmias and cardiac arrest, sepsis and septic shock, intracranial hemorrhage, altered mental status, coma, and more. Trauma APPs treat patients in multiple settings and are always available to see acutely injured patients anywhere in the hospital

Requirements:

• Education: MD or DO Degree
• Experience: ABS board certification in Trauma Surgery or board eligible
• Certification/Licensure: Current Virginia medical license and DEA, Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at all Inova Hospitals

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Trauma Surgery
