The Indiana University School of Medicine's Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgery and Indiana University Health Physicians are actively recruiting a full-time general surgeon to join the faculty at the assistant or associate professor level.  The ideal candidate will manage general surgery cases and work with a collaborative group of surgeons and APPs that provide exceptional care.  This surgeon will provide such services at our IU Health West Hospital located in a rapidly growing suburb right outside of Indianapolis IU Health General Surgery Physicians-WEST. 

Clinical teaching is the mainstay of educational duties with opportunities to interact with medical students, surgical residents, and fellows in the office, inpatient, and OR settings.  In addition, there are nonclinical didactic and simulation-based teaching opportunities offered in the Department of Surgery Skills Lab.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy 
• American Board of Surgery Board Eligible/Board Certified Surgeon
• Able to obtain IN licensure
