DescriptionPrimary responsibility is 24-hour on-call coverage for coordination of/liaison between transplant teams, patients, hospital departments, and organ procurement organizations for transplants.  Secondary responsibilities encompass all aspects of clinical coordination of the transplant recipient involving all phases of the transplant process, from initial pre-transplant referral (including urgent transfers) throughout the post-transplant patient follow-up phase.
