Seasons Community Birth Center is a growing non-profit birth center in Thornton, CO, that promotes community wellness, holistic health, and gender affirming care within an anti-racist framework.

We opened in January 2023 under the fiscal sponsorship of Elephant Circle, a CO local nonprofit birth justice organization that has been active since 2009. We are committed to offering full scope reproductive health care, gender affirming care, GYN services and of course prenatal, labor/birth, postpartum and newborn care. We also have hospital privileges at a local hospital in order to provide continuity of care for folks who had been planning a birth center birth. 

Our team is a combination of CNM and CPM providers. The midwives cover the birth center 24/7 for births as well as clinic 4 days a week, the schedule is split equitably between the midwives. We have administrative staff who cover the front desk, office management, class scheduling, etc. And we also have birth assistants who help both in the clinic and are scheduled 24/7 to attend births with the on-call midwife.

Currently, we are seeking to hire a Certified Nurse Midwife candidate. The available salary is $85-$95k/year (dependent on experience) with a $4k relocation allowance as needed. We also offer fully paid health benefits, a $2k/year CEU allowance and participation in an IRA.

Seasons is a freestanding birth center located in Colorado just north of Denver, in Thornton. The previous "Seasons Midwifery & Birth Center" opened in this location in 2019. After separation from corporate ownership, Seasons Community Birth Center opened in January 2023 as a new non-profit center, under the sponsorship/leadership of Elephant Circle, a birth justice organization.
