We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible pediatric critical care physician to join our team at the K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a commitment to quality patient care, and a passion for teaching.
Our 10-bed pediatric ICU is staffed by in-house pediatric ICU physicians. We offer a dynamic and supportive environment that fosters professional growth, with numerous opportunities for research, mentorship, and academic advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to resident and medical student education
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Engage in research and academic projects (optional)
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of pediatric residency and pediatric critical care fellowship
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
- Active NJ medical license or ability to obtain one
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
