The Pediatric Hematology Oncology specialist would be joining an expanding department of Pediatrics and Hematology Oncology section.
Position Highlights:
Our Department of Pediatrics is an expanding physician group practice that includes more than 50 general pediatricians and over 160 pediatric medical and surgical specialists
Physician will be fourth in the group
Comprehensive Pediatric Hematology Oncology Center that includes an outpatient clinic and infusion center
State of the art Special Procedure Unit
Outreach clinics in Round Rock, Waco, Killeen, and College Station, Texas
State of the art Electronic Medical Record system (EPIC)
Children's Oncology Group membership
Pediatric resident and medical student education

About McLane Children's Medical Center
Our five-story McLane Children's Specialty Clinic is located next to our free-standing Children's Hospital in Temple, Texas. The hospital features include 112 patient beds: 48 private medical/surgical rooms, 16 private Pediatric ICU rooms and a 24-hour, level II pediatric emergency department and verified trauma center equipped to deal with the most serious pediatric trauma cases. A level IV, 48 bed Neonatal ICU is located nearby on the main BSWMC, Temple campus.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Where Applicable - Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her speciality or demonstrate board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
