The Ballad Health CVA Heart Institute is seeking a skilled Interventional Cardiologist to join our highly supportive team in Abingdon, Virginia. We provide outstanding, personalized care to the patients of the region while benefiting from the strength and collaboration of a larger network. Our team of over 50 physicians and surgeons, supported by 40+ Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), brings expertise across general cardiology, interventional cardiology, advanced cardiac imaging, electrophysiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and vascular surgery.

Location: Abingdon, Virginia, based at the state-of-the-art Johnston Memorial Hospital (JMH) Cath Lab

About Johnston Memorial Hospital: Johnston Memorial Hospital, located in Abingdon, Virginia, is a 116-bed modern medical facility serving Southwest Virginia. Accredited as the first "green" hospital in Southwest Virginia, certified by LEED and Energy Star, JMH offers a comprehensive range of services including a 24-hour interventional cardiology program, critical care services, diagnostic imaging, emergency care, family birthing center, women s services, laboratory services, outpatient rehabilitation, palliative care, a sleep center, and surgical services including robotics. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience, proficient in performing PCI without on-site surgical backup
