Private audiology clinic (established in 2003) located in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a 4th year audiology student for an externship position. Mild climate and close proximity to both city (Richmond) and beach (Virginia Beach) make Williamsburg a desirable place to spend your externship year!
We offer a supportive environment, where students are gradually guided from observation to supervised performance to independent execution of daily responsibilities. Questions and discussions regarding audiology, patient care and business operations are considered essential to the student’s growth and are encouraged throughout the entire time with us.
We have well established relationships with local physicians and ENTs. We visit many retirement communities and provide on-site services on a regular basis. We work with all major hearing aid manufacturers. The majority of our patients are adults but we see some school aged patients as well due to our affiliation with the local school district. Our patients appreciate and value the personalized approach and passionate patient care they receive from all our staff members.
Our staff consists of two full time audiologists, one 4th year audiology student, three patient care coordinators and an office manager. Our Audiologists and front office staff are all equally integral parts of our team working together to create the best patient experience.
