Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly qualified, Neonatologist to join our well established group in Augusta, Georgia. Piedmont Augusta (formerly University Hospital) is a 812-bed, acute-care facility that serves the Augusta-Richmond County area and 25 counties across two states.
Coverage includes a 28-bed Level-III NICU and Normal Newborn Nursery with approximately 3000 deliveries per year and an average daily NICU census of 15
This position will include one week per month of NICU attending, a flexible number of weeks providing term nursery coverage, plus 25% coverage during four holiday weeks (Masters, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
Team of 4 Neonatologists and 5 full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioners with 24/7 in house NNP coverage and physician call from home

No surgical, iNO, or therapeutic hypothermia patients (regional referral center is one mile away)
