Responsible for directing the daily work activities of the Painters, Carpenters, and specific Maintenance Mechanics that are assigned to the Off-site Clinics and Properties. Assist with personnel functions, planning work load of department, customer service relations, and vendor selection relations. Duties involve but are not limited to work order assignment, maintaining building maintenance program, project planning, costing, material ordering, procurement of services, maintaining project schedules, and assisting with compliance regarding all regulatory codes.
Responsibilities:
Developing and monitoring preventive maintenance programs for CHRISTUS equipment
Analyzing equipment problems, technical data and preliminary specifications Inspecting equipment on a regular basis
Responding immediately to emergency situations and customer concerns
Documenting and reporting activities to Facility Manager
Replacing specialty lighting within CHRISTUS space
Ensuring all inspections are kept current
Using hand, power or pneumatic tools Using electrical or electronic test devices or equipment
Repairing doors, ceilings, hand rails and floors
Requirements:
Education/Skills
High School Diploma
Experience
Five years in operation and maintenance of hospital facilities and equipment or related field, preferred.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
Must have one or more of the following State issued journeyman licenses (or greater): JP, JR, JPF, JPG, or EE98J
Future Expectation: within 12 months of hire must have scheduled, taken and provided to Director/Manager and Human Resources with test results. Must successfully complete a specified NM State Journey License, if not in possession at the time of hire. Infor
