Overview:
We are looking for that special Hospice Care Consultant to join our team.
- Reports directly to the Business Development Manager.
- Educates families and local healthcare partners in the local community.
- You will be the driving force in the community that impacts hospice referrals by developing key relationships with healthcare professionals, senior care facilities, and families.
- You will present at huddles to educate our healthcare partners on hospice services.
- You will have the autonomy to create your own schedule and marketing plan.
- You will develop meaningful relationships with internal key contacts and opinion leaders including program directors/managers, nurse managers, office staff and others.
- You may educate on hospice in the patient home and may complete hospice admission forms.
- Coordinates physician and provider educational visits to internal and external physicians and staff.
Key Success Factors:
- Proven track record in marketing or sales preferably in hospice or healthcare industry
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work and perform individually and as a trusted team member
- A "heart" for end-of-life care; having empathy for patients and their families
- Known and respected within your community

- EDUCATION - Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualifications
- EXPERIENCE - 1 year of experience
