This position is responsible for providing direction and focus on the revenue cycle process. The incumbent will work collaboratively with regional leadership and management to identify and implement best practices, improve information systems infrastructure, and share knowledge to enhance the service and technical quality as well as overall outcomes in the revenue cycle process.
Responsibilities:

Provides focus and direction to process improvement in revenue cycle management.
Establishes standards and processes to ensure continuous improvement in the revenue cycle.
Identifies best practices and facilitates the knowledge transfer to operations.
Develop and implement training processes to improve cash collection, reduction of denials, and customer service excellence.
May establish and facilitate Revenue Cycle meetings with Practice Managers/Administrators.
Analyzes and makes recommendations for collection agency services and monitors the effectiveness of selected vendors.
Follows guidelines related to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), designed to prevent or detect unauthorized disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI).
Maintains strict confidentiality.
Uses oral and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas in a clear, positive manner that is consistent with the CHRISTUS Mission.
Maintains established CHRISTUS Medical Group policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control.
Implements job responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with the CHRISTUS Mission and Code of Ethics and supportive of cultural diversity objectives.
Supports and adheres to service guarantees.
Performs other related work as required.
Job Requirements:
Education/Skills
Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience required.
Experience
5 years of Managerial Experience Required.
8 ? 12 years of technical years of experience preferred.
