The Undergraduate Medical Education Program Administrator 1 provides oversight to the undergraduate medical education (UME) training program, including all administrative, operational and financial help for the program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Partners with course leadership to administer courses in respective clinical areas. Coordinates all educational activities helping the Program's curriculum including orientation, student schedules, documentation, case logs, evaluations, simulation, course materials, examinations and any other activities required.
Maintains and coordinates data required to comply with institutional, program and accreditation requirements.
Works closely with medical school affiliates to carry out the curriculum and oversees the day-to-day operations within areas of responsibility. Serves as a liaison between affiliate partners, clinics and community with clear, respectful and timely communication.
Contributes to the oversight of the program's operational budget, as appropriate. Completes timely processing of certifications for payment processing and other related responsibilities. Serve as purchaser for clerkship ordering supplies as needed. Process check requres for payment as needed
Coordinates rotations for visiting medical students within areas of responsibility.
Participates in all required meetings of medical school affiliate and Team Huddles.
