Duties can include but are not limited to performing:
The physician is accountable to the Chief, Urology Surgery Section, and is responsible for providing the most effective delivery of clinical/surgical care throughout the medical center while meeting and exceeding compliance standards.
Provides guidance to interns, residents/fellows, medical students, physician assistants and nurse practitioners and are eligible for clinical appointment at Wake Forest University.
Delivers patient care that is compassionate, appropriate, and effective for the promotion of health, prevention of illness, treatment of disease, and care at the end of life. Comfortable providing training and/or direction to support staff assigned to the unit during the performance of duties.

Competitive Salary Range: $300,000-$400,000.
Paid Time Off: 50–55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)

Requirements
U.S. Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is impossible to recruit qualified citizens, in accordance with VA Policy.
Education: A Doctor of Medicine degree or an equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine is required.
Licensure: Candidates must possess a current, complete, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
Residency: Completion of a residency program in an accredited core specialty
Board Certification: Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Urology.
