Working in close collaboration with leadership, the Specialist I, Gift Processing will assist in the development and implementation of many aspects of multiple programs that align with hospital’s mission and support the Foundation’s goals. Working independently, the Specialist I may be in charge of overseeing program/project execution that could include staffing, volunteers, budget and fundraising goals from start to finish. This position may also be responsible for special events that publicize the organization and its programs to the community. Position may have direct and/or indirect oversight of lower-level staff members and/or volunteers.
Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience 3 years of related experience in related specialty
Key functions:
?Handle day-to-day gift processing activities, including complex gift batching, donor acknowledgement communications, and gift-related customer service
?Monitor and reconcile gifts through new and existing fundraising platforms used by the Foundation
?Strengthen data integrity, and lead projects which improve gift processing and acknowledgement accuracy
?Manage workflow and provide support to manager for month end reconciling and closing
?Take lead role on various project execution within Decision Support
