POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full-Time Onsite Position
• Primary role is to be physician extender/substitute for minor procedures.
• Daytime Hours – Monday-Friday (8a-5p)

• Duties include: Rounding, clinic patient consultations, thora/para, central lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, basic flouro, and other duties as assigned

Gulf Imaging Associates (GIA) has an opening for a motivated onsite Advanced Practice Provider. We are a hospital based, private practice with a commitment to quality. We ardently promote and invest in the professional development of our team through a comprehensive quality assurance program. The candidate will represent the practice through interactions with hospital staff, referring clinicians, patients, and the health care community in general. We have an established infra-structure for efficient, collaborative workflow throughout our practice.

Houston is the 4th largest city in the country and is home to the Houston Space Center, is a diverse metropolis with ample sports, arts, recreation, a short drive to the beach, the rodeo, with ideal year-round weather and no state income tax.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Licensed as an APP in the state of Texas preferred
• Graduate of an AMA accredited program
• Certification by the NCCPA or AANP
• One year of APP experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
