BJC Home Medical Equipment has an opening for a field technician/delivery driver. We are looking for someone with great customer service skills to delivery and set up home medical equipment for home care and hospice patients in their homes. BJC vehicles provided.
Schedule
Monday-Friday 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. - some overtime required.
Covering North County/City, Northern Illinois, Southern Illinois and various routes on a rotating basis as assigned due to need.
Overnight on-call requirements 8 to 10 times per month.
Some weekends required.
Rotating coverage areas between St. Louis, Illinois and Boone regions.
Requirements
Lift up to 35 lbs
Assembling up to 70 lb beds
Class E driver's license
Automobile liability insurance
Previous field technician experience in any field is highly preferred.

Role Purpose
Responsible for the incoming equipment delivery, instruction, installation, repair, and removal and or reallocation of home medical, home infusion therapy or respiratory equipment.
Responsibilities
Delivers, sets up, repairs, and retrieves durable home medical equipment (DME).
Ensures proper inventory, cleanliness, and safe operation of delivery vehicle.
Provides training on home infusion supplies.
Completes patient and home assessments, providing proper paperwork and documentation.
