The role you’ll contribute:
AdventHealth Rocky Mountain Foundation (AHRMF) -- the fundraising entity of AdventHealth’s Rocky Mountain Region hospitals -- is seeking a new Foundation Director for AdventHealth Avista. The Director is responsible for leading comprehensive fundraising strategies and major gift portfolio management to support AdventHealth Avista’s mission. Additionally, this role will lead AHRMF’s regional Annual Giving program for the AHRMF foundation. This position reports to the President of AdventHealth Rocky Mountain Foundation and works closely with the executive leadership team of AdventHealth Avista, the Avista Foundation Board, and AHRMF’s fundraising and support teams.

- Leads all aspects of Avista’s Foundation by developing and maintaining cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies that incorporate exceptional donor experiences for optimal philanthropic impact.
- Oversees Rocky Mountain Region Annual Giving program across all foundations, serving as the regional leader to help facilitate team member campaigns, digital/print appeals, and eNewsletters in partnership with communication teams.
- Works with the Foundation Board, AHRMF President, and executive leadership to design and implement fundraising plans aligned with the hospital’s strategic priorities
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- BS or BA in Marketing, Communication, Business, and/or related field.
- 5 years’ experience in nonprofit fundraising or related fields such as community engagement. Experience in a healthcare setting or health-related nonprofit.
