Wonderful Opportunity for a Per Diem, Experienced, Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established national group of physicians providing care to neonates at Christus St. Michaelâ™s Hospital in Texarkana, TX.

 

• Christus St. Michael's Hospital was ranked by Modern Healthcare as one of the "Best Places to Work in Healthcare" in 2017.
• The Level-III NICU has 8 beds and the intermediate unit has 7 with an average daily census of 9 infants.
• The neonatologists see babies in the newborn nursery with approximately 2,100 deliveries annually.
• NNPs provide 24-hour, in-house coverage and they also care for preemies and term babies who need mechanical ventilation, nitric oxide, oscillator ventilation and total body cooling.

 

• Current APRN national specialty certification
• Minimum of a masterâ™s degree 
• TX license or active IMLC required
• Certified NNP with recent experience required
