Penobscot Community Health Care is seeking a BC/BE Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant interested in working with the adult and geriatric population as part of our Community Care and Geriatrics (CCG) team. You will work primarily in Waterville, at Mount Joseph - a post-acute skilled rehabilitation and nursing facility with independent living apartments, amenities, and activities.
Two years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, with a background in Community Health and Family Practice preferred.
This position is planned for full-time, 40-hours per week, generally Monday – Friday in Waterville, but the schedule can be flexible – 4 10-hour days are an option. Travel and work in other area PCHC/CCG facilities will be required at times, however primary site will be based in Waterville.
CCG is an established and growing PCHC practice focused on providing exceptional care within the region’s acute care facilities, long-term care facilities, and assisted living facilities, with a home office located on Union Street in Bangor.
There is a high level of autonomy and flexibility with this role.
Having a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and/or an appropriate length of driving experience for insurance purposes is required. Any concerns raised by the results of a driving record check will be subject to an individualized review to determine whether the infraction is relevant to the individual’s ability to perform the responsibilities of the position, in accordance with PCHC’s Automobile Safety and Background Check policy.
