The Alexandria VA Medical Center is seeking a compassionate, full-time, BC/BE, Primary Physician to serve as members of our Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) in Lafayette, LA. Highlights of this position include:
Competitive Starting Salary $210,000 - $235,000
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm. NO CALL
As appropriate, complete telehealth visits to augment patient care
Travel potential of up to 25%to our Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC)
Provide care to approximately 12-20 outpatients daily for all facets of acute care
Manage and provide care to scheduled and unscheduled patients
Serves as a member of the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) team, and coordinates patient care

Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA
Possible 5 days and up to $1,000 per year reimbursement for CME s (must be full-time with board certification)
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), if approved

Additional Requirements:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in FM/IM
Family Practice and/or VA experience preferred
Must be computer-literate to access and input electronic medical documentation
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found
