UNC Physicians Network is seeking a full time Board Certified/Eligible Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician (MD/DO) to provide virtual Tele-ICU services for multiple UNC hospitals. This 100% remote opportunity allows you to make a significant impact on patient care while enjoying the flexibility of a virtual practice. The ideal candidate is an intuitive healthcare professional whose diagnostic abilities are only matched by their concern for their patients.
About This Position:
?100% Remote Position, working 7PM-7AM, 7on-7off with possible variability based on team consensus to maximize flexibility and work-life balance. ?Virtual ICU management for adult patients 18 and older. ?Candidate must be physically located in North Carolina or Pennsylvania. ?Competitive compensation and benefits. ?EPIC electronic medical record platform utilized. ?Seamless EPIC based workflow eliminates delays in care by allowing direct communication from nurses and other in-hospital staff, eliminating the need for an intermediary and allowing for more efficient communications and expedited care.
Ideal Candidate:
?2+ years of experience is required. ?Board Certified/Eligible in Critical Care; Pulmonary Medicine Board Certification/Eligibility preferred. ?ICU experience is a plus. ?Telemedicine experience is a plus, but not required. ?Open-minded and flexible with change. ?Dedicated to developing new and exciting ways to deliver care.
