Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Lead, AV Technician

As the Lead AV Technician, you'll ensure seamless events by managing setups, supporting presenters, and working with Latest technology. Role Overview
- Coordinate technical, audiovisual (AV), and setup operations for meetings scheduled through the Conference Planning office.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of meeting room setups.
- Oversee AV equipment maintenance, inventory, and troubleshooting for seamless event experiences.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to optimize room configurations and technical support.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards for AV operations and event setups.
- Train new and current staff in AV equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Evaluate and recommend AV equipment upgrades to enhance meeting and event quality.
Key Qualifications
- Experience in AV operations, event coordination, or technical support.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to manage events and task prioritization.
- Knowledge of AV equipment, troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth event execution.
Core Skills
- Operations management: Technical oversight, and quality control for AV and room setup.
- Technical support: AV equipment configuration, troubleshooting, and presenter assistance.
- Conference preparation and setup: Ensuring optimal room layouts (tables/chairs...) and technical readiness.
- Equipment and inventory management: Tracking, maintaining, and recommending AV resources.
- Documentation and reporting: Maintaining records of equipment usage, and maintenance logs.
Additional Information:
- Pay Range $30.77-$47.75
- Reporting to Audio Visual Supervisor
- Schedule: 10:30am-6:30pm Mon-Fri
- Overtime: Outside shift hours and weekends.
