The UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Clinical Research Business Operations Manager to drive efficiency, collaboration and innovation in our cancer clinical research program. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to navigate complex stakeholder relationships to develop and implement solutions effectively. Ideally, the candidate will support key committees, manage, and analyze complex datasets and implement data-driven initiatives, and foster collaboration across a variety of teams and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following key responsibilities:
Lead business operations improvement initiatives for clinical research.
Coordinate and facilitate the CRU Steering Committee and CRU Admin Directors meetings, ensuring follow-up on action items.
Establish and manage a Cancer Clinical Research Administrators regular meeting to enhance collaboration across oncology research groups.
Develop and distribute recurring and ad hoc data reports, ensuring appropriate follow-up and action.
Work with JCCC Informatics to enhance Tableau dashboards for clinical research business operations.
Create materials such as a monthly "Highlighted Clinical Trials" newsletter to support research operations.
Support initiatives led by clinical research senior leaders, including the Accrual Initiative Leaders (pediatric, female, and underrepresented minority populations).
Prepare data reports, visualizations, and presentation materials for leadership use.

Salary: $5,733 - $11,750 monthly
QualificationsRequired:
Must be able to work independently, proactively identifying issues and developing and implementing solutions.
Bachelor's degree required, or 4-5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proven ability to work with a range of stakeholders, including those outside direct supervision, effectively persuading and influencing them to achieve shared goals.
