Schedule:Full Time, 40 hours/week
Shift: Monday - Friday, Days; w/On-call phone coverage requirement for after hours, holidays and during weekends
Develops, implements and manages risk management activitiesby identifying and evaluating potential and actual risks to the UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Great Lakes Region and collaborating with various leaders to develop action plans to prevent, minimize and treat risk. This position will have oversight over multiple locations.

Develops, implements and/or evaluates practices and policies within the UChicago Medicine Great Lakes Region
Collects and analyzes data to identify potential or actual sources of risk to patients, associates and their environment
Collaborates with staff, medical staff, leadership, patient safety and other committee members with respect to reviewing and investigating patient safety events
Collaborates with Corporate Claims Department on claims and lawsuits
Develops, collaborates and/or facilities patient safety and risk initiatives with various departments and leaders within the UChicago Medicine Great Lakes Region
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
·High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or associate degree, or bachelor’s degree required
·3 years of experience required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
· Bachelor's Degree Highly Preferred
·5 years of experience - Clinical and/or Risk Management background highly preferred
·1 year of leadership or management experience
