California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) is seeking an Information Services Regional Manager to lead IT operations across multiple institutions in California. In this senior leadership role, you’ll manage multiple teams remotely in a hybrid work environment, ensuring critical technology support for essential health care services. Duties:
Lead IT Strategy & Solutions: Plan, manage, and execute complex IT initiatives, formulating policies for IT service planning, management, and delivery.
Oversee Projects & Budgets: Direct IT workloads, approve project plans, mentor staff, and manage budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation.
Enhance Business & IT Alignment: Collaborate with executives to identify business challenges, recommend technology-driven solutions, and optimize system performance.
Foster Team & Customer Relationships: Cultivate a collaborative IT environment, resolve conflicts, promote professional growth, and strengthen business relationships.
Ensure Operational Excellence: Partner with service providers, set performance targets, and implement process improvements to enhance IT service delivery.
To excel in this role, you must have:
Skills: Leadership, project management, customer service-oriented approach to IT, and desktop support experience.
Experience:
Six years of IT experience in technical, analytical, or supervisory roles within one of the six major domains or a related field, including two years in a lead or supervisory capacity on complex IT systems or services.
OR
A relevant degree that includes at least 15 semester units or 22.5 quarter units of IT or related coursework) may substitute for the general IT experience (not supervisory experience). Only one degree may be used for substitution:
Master’s/Doctorate Degree = 4 years of experience
Bachelor’s Degree = 3 years of experience
Associate’s Degree = 1 year of experience
