BJC HealthCare is seeking a Document Imaging Specialist to assist with chart pick up, prepping and scanning of documents.
Must be able to be on your feet 6 hours per day.
Hours: Mon-Fri 8 AM-4:30 PM

Role Purpose
The Health Information Management (HIM) Document Imaging Specialist ensures the accurate and timely collection of clinical documentation that is generated during patient care and treatment. Using artificial intelligence, the patient records are uploaded into our legal record of care repository. The record transfer process requires collaboration with our clinical staff, providers, and HIM staff. Key factors of success of the record completion are to decrease errors, improve efficiency and safety by expediting the documents to support continuum of care. Skills need for HIM staff are excellent communication, collaboration with clinical staff, critical thinking process for navigating the document cross walks to ensure accurate document types and descriptions are identified.
