The Allegheny Health Network (AHN), Psychiatry & Behavioral Health Institute is seeking a full-time Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist. Join a supportive team caring for patients with medical-psychiatric comorbid conditions at Allegheny General Hospital, a 576 bed tertiary care facility. Facilitate psychiatry clerkship experiences for medical students and psychiatry residents. Provide integrated psychiatric care as part of an interdisciplinary team within an academic medical center. Join a vertically-integrated fiscal and clinical delivery system that is revolutionizing behavioral health service models, providing evidence-based treatments, and measurement-based care.
AHN Behavioral Health Institute Additional Benefits:
CEU allowance: $2500 and five paid Professional Development days annually
Emphasis on collaboration between psychologist, psychotherapists, advanced practice providers and psychiatrist within the Institute.
Weekly Grand Rounds with free CME offerings
Opportunities to train and supervise psychiatry residents, psychiatric nurse practitioner residents and medical students.
Qualifications
Completion of ACGME approved Psychiatry Residency
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Psychiatry
Graduate of accredited medical school with degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
DEA and CPR Certification required prior to employment
