The role you’ll contribute:
The Scheduler II will assist in the implementation of new policies and procedures. This position is responsible for scheduling procedures and ensuring correct demographic, insurance and relevant clinical information is obtained. This position requires medical terminology, excellent phone skills, typing 35 wpm, acute attention to details and excellent customer service skills. Working knowledge of physician practice and an exemplary knowledge of interventional radiology procedures is expected. The Scheduler II will assist in meeting departmental goals in accordance to the hospital's strategic plan. The Scheduler II will communicate departmental progress to the Team Lead and Manager and perform related work as required. The Scheduler II will assist in continued education efforts and training for new and existing associates. Additional duties assigned by management.

·Collecting and verifying demographic, insurance and relevant clinical information.
·Verifying accuracy of order and scanning into medical record.
·Calling patients to complete appointment scheduling.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
·Associate's Degree or graduate of a technical school
·1 Years of position-related experience
·LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure
·Licensed Radiologic Technologist
Preferred qualifications:
·Bachelor's Degree or equivalent post-secondary technical school education
