The Opportunity:

Discover an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact as an Outpatient Psychologist at Foundation Health Partners Behavioral Health Clinic. Our clinic is a trusted destination for compassionate and comprehensive behavioral health services, dedicated to supporting individuals of all ages on their journey to mental health and emotional well-being. Join our expert team of licensed psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and psychologists who are committed to delivering exceptional care in a safe, supportive, and personalized environment. As a member of our team you will provide individual psychotherapy, screen new patient referrals, maintain waitlists, and contribute to the clinical support that defines our commitment to excellence in the Fairbanks community. Your expertise will shape the future of mental health care in a clinic that values evidence-based approaches and prioritizes the well-being of both patients and professionals.

• Compensation: Salary starting at $137,690, increases based on experience. $40k sign-on bonus.
• Schedule: M-F outpatient clinic. No nights, no weekends.
• Patient Panel: Outpatient setting offering patients short and long-term management of behavioral health conditions. 7 patients per day.

Qualifications

A doctoral degree in a field of study in or related to the field of psychology is required.

Current licensure as a psychologist as required by the state in which services are provided Eligible for affiliate medical staff membership at various facilities.

Knowledge of personality dynamics; principles of life span development; abnormal psychology; psychological tests and measurements; DSM-IV diagnostic criteria/methods; basic principles of neuropsychology and health psychology; principles of learning; behavior modification; individual, family and group psychotherapy techniques; and research methods required. These basic abilities are learned through graduate studies and the completion of 2000 hours of internship training, with expertise acquired via experience. Graduate training and experience should include evaluation and treatment methods with individuals ranging from age 5 through geriatric populations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
