Job SummaryThe Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer II (DCS II) is proficient in providing high quality cardiac ultrasound images of the heart and great vessels, assessment of myocardial function, recording of hemodynamic measurements, and visualization of blood flow using 2D, M-mode, color-flow and spectral Doppler. The DCS II performs Stress Echocardiograms, Dobutamine Stress Echo, and assists with Transesophageal Echocardiograms. The DCS II establishes peripheral intravenous access and administers Ultrasound Enhancing Agents according to established protocol and standing medical order (SMO). The DCS II retrieves, communicates and presents information in a written, oral or visual fashion. The DCS II functions as a preceptor t
