MultiCare Mary Bridge Childrens Hospital is the state-designated Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and the only pediatric hospital in Washingtons South Sound Region dedicated to a comprehensive network of health services for children and adolescents. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is an ideal role for those looking to work with an interdisciplinary team to provide high quality patient care in the ambulatory setting.

Responsibilities
Utilizes the nursing process as a systematic problem-solving approach to nursing care, facilitating an optimal level of functioning and health for the patient
Performs patient triage in person, via telephone and secure messages, utilizing protocols, guidelines, and standards
Utilizes assessment and analysis skills in delivering medical regimens as directed by physicians, advanced practice providers and registered nurses
Delegates selected patient care functions to others in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence
Collaborates with the clinic team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and stewardship
Fosters a learning environment for patients, families, and all members of the health care team.
Advocates for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
Current Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington State or Multistate license endorsement (MLS)
Current basic life support certification (BLS)
Two years of experience as an LPN - in a clinic setting preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $27.86 - $40.08 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicants years of experience align.
