SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Seeking a registered and licensed dietitian for a full-time inpatient position in our adult hospital. Nutrition screening and assessment, patient education. Work collaboratively with a group of 6 other dietitians as well as nursing and provider teams in various specialties to optimize patient care and recovery. Substantial opportunities for learning in this academic medical center.

Responsible for providing leadership in establishing standards of practice for nutritional care and serving as a consultant to clinical dietitians, physicians and other health professionals, providing direct patient care and being responsible for needs assessment, program development and evaluation, in-service education, medical staff education and nutrition research.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Either: (A) Master's degree plus 2 years of experience required or (B) Bachelor's Degree with an additional job related specialty certification plus 7 years of experience required.

Registered Dietitian (ADA) (or Registry Eligible) required (Commission on Dietetics Registration).

Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (Pennsylvania) required.
