DescriptionSummary:Under a physician's direction, applies and adjusts casts and assembles and attaches orthopedic traction equipment and devices. Set up special devices as required. Periodically inspects and adjusts bandages and equipment. The Technician is able to assist with care of any patient to include casting, splinting, stitches, staple removal, application of soft goods and stocking supplies.Responsibilities:Under the direction of the Physician who is providing orthopedic services and clinical services:1.
