Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) is currently seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist to join our collegial critical care access community hospital located in the historic central Vermont towns of Windsor and Woodstock Vermont.
In this role, you will provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management services. You will work in coordination with the Primary Care services team to provide comprehensive, high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric services to patients with mood disorders, substance use disorders, and co-occurring medical and behavioral health illnesses. On occasion, you will also provide consults for our Emergency Department and inpatient medical units.
Embedded resources include a dedicated psychiatry secretary, therapist, social workers, nurses, case managers, and care coordinators. We will work with you to build out your schedule template and offer flexibility with how your week is structured and will have the option to do some telehealth work.

Ascutney Hospital and Health Center is a critical access hospital in Windsor, Vermont founded in 1933 and winner of the Foster G. McGaw Prize for Excellence in Community Service. Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center features 25 inpatient, medical-surgical beds and a renowned, 10-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. The Hospital has a therapeutic pool and physical therapy department as well as acute care, transitional care, and hospice. In addition to a primary care base in multiple locations, specialty services include dermatology, gastroenterology, general surgery, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, pediatrics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, podiatry, rheumatology, urology, and others.
