SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising the day-to-day dock operations inbound and outbound. The Shipping and Receiving supervisor leads a condensed team of material handlers and a logistics coordinator at the local community hospital level. This individual supports the local Supply & Logistics Manager in achieving organizational strategic goals and imperatives. This individual is responsible for supporting and maintaining policies and procedures to optimize material flows and support patient care. This role may be required to act as a working supervisor due to the nature of the local community hospital.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates degree or equivalent experience and three (3) years of related experience required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Three (3) years of supervisory experience, including the supervision of staff covered by a collective bargaining agreement preferred.
