BJC is hiring for an Sr. IT Service Operations Analyst.
Responsibilities: Manage and ensure the integrity of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring that all configuration items (CIs) are accurate and up-to-date.
Collaborate with technical teams to establish CI relationships and dependencies, providing accurate data to support incident, change, and problem management processes.
Continuously review and improve CMDB processes, implementing automation and data reconciliation activities to ensure data accuracy and reduce manual work.

Role Purpose
The Senior Service Operations Analyst (SOA) is responsible for the execution of standard and common service management tasks with little direction. The Senior SOA is capable of identifying improvement opportunities in the existing work instructions and developing and socializing improvements to simply efforts or increase efficiency. The Senior SOA is skilled in multiple areas of service management and can support their peers to better understand practices and procedures. The person in this role can enable high levels of service performance through reactive responses to data analysis.
Responsibilities
Carries out routine tasks within one or more areas of service management, including the execution of specified support management practices.
Amends existing process documentation under supervision to gain a basic understanding of the workflows and tools utilized in the service management practice.
Contributes to development and refinement of service management practices. Monitors and reports on service management performance to enable better service delivery. Resolves issues or escalates to others for assistance.
