The role you will contribute:
Leaders at AdventHealth are called to help team members to feel whole.
As a critical member of AdventHealth Clinical, the Nursing Manager (Corporate), supports the development, implementation, and communication of the AdventHealth Nursing Strategy and programs across AdventHealth. He or she will work in close collaboration with the Director of Nursing Practice and Education to align and coordinate an integrated approach to achieving the goal of standardized nursing practice based on evidence, throughout AdventHealth, as well as establishing and maintaining effective methods of digital communication designed for the nursing workforce.The Corporate Nursing Manager of Nursing Professional Development and Education will design, implement, and evaluate educational activities to ensure adherence to the principles of outcomes-based education as described by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
The value you will bring to the team:
·Designs and develops nursing educational content that adheres to ANCC NCPD Accreditation criteria.
·Functions as Nurse Planner for educational content.
·Incorporates content experts in the educational content development process.
·Leads the interprofessional planning committee.
·Directs and facilitates the integration of evidence-based practices into clinical policies, procedures and practice guideline alignment
·Develop executive presentations as needed.
·Aggregate and facilitate analysis of workforce data that includes:GN conversion rate- %BSN – HPPD- Nursing skill mix- RN turnover- vacancy rates, and other pertinent data to ensure AdventHealth is apprised of significant nursing trends.
·Aggregate and facilitate analysis of nursing Professional Excellence Program data that includes % participation and related RN turnover metrics for the organization.
·Lead management of the clinical ladder application.
·Lead development of structured communication for and management of enterprise-wide nursing inbox.
·Newly licensed nurse mentor program administrator.
·Develop and maintain nursing governance toolkit.
·Resource for facility nursing governance councils, assisting with structure and maintaining a central database of council organizational charts.
·Develop and maintain a repository of nursing presentations at National conferences.
·Develop and implement processes for maintaining the AdventHealth Nursing internal website with content that is pertinent to nurses at all levels of clinical practice, including nurse recognition and education.
·Collaborate with HR and Marketing in the design and ongoing development of the external nursing website, consistent with the AdventHealth nursing brand.
·Lead the design and implementation of systems for nurse recognition across AdventHealth.
·Monitor current regulatory/accreditation requirements, practice trends and legislative issues for alignment with current clinical practice and identify opportunities for policy and/or procedural updates.
·Maintain subject matter expertise in requirements for Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation and Adult Cardiac Life Support, and provide support for structured program administration.
·Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders in the development of corporate policies.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
·5 years experience in Nursing Education
·Current RN licensure
·National Board Certification (Preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
·Master’s Degree in Nursing
