The Department of Surgery at Duke University Medical Center, a nationally recognized center of excellence in patient education, research and clinical care is seeking a board eligible or certified Vascular Surgeon to join our practice at Duke Raleigh Hospital. The Duke Center for Vascular Diseases offers a multidisciplinary approach along with the latest diagnostic and treatment strategies, and cutting-edge research trials. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to the academic mission and embrace the clinical, academic and teaching opportunities available at Duke. Candidate must be proficient in both advanced open and endovascular therapies.
This surgeon will be practicing at Duke Raleigh Hospital, one of our affiliated community hospitals, and will join an established practice of 4 vascular surgeons on campus. Even though they are in a community practice setting, surgeons have access to the breadth of enriched academic resources available at Duke. This surgeon will have the opportunity to participate in clinical research, and will be expected to educate and train Duke Medical School students, residents and vascular surgery fellows. Salary and title will be commensurate with skills and experience. Experience in a community practice setting is a plus.

Duke Raleigh Hospital (DRaH) is a medical surgical hospital with a growing, successful multi-specialty surgical program that has served Wake Country for more than 35 years. The hospital has 204 inpatient beds and offers comprehensive services including: neuroscience, cancer care, advanced gastrointestinal care, wound healing and vascular surgery. The DRaH clinic features an office-based laboratory for minimal invasive endovascular therapies, procedure room space for venous interventions, and an IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission) accredited Diagnostic Vascular Laboratory.
