Northwell Health is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Pulmonary Physician to join The Pulmonary Division at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Candidates must be BE/BC in pulmonary and interventional pulmonary.
Northwell Health Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine Program started in the 1980s and has grown to over 125 dedicated full-time physicians throughout the system. Our programs are nationally and internationally recognized for expertise in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine, and we boast innovative clinical research. We have specialized centers for interventional pulmonology, pulmonary hypertension, advanced lung disease, cystic fibrosis, non-CF bronchiectasis, asthma, lung transplant, interstitial lung disease and sleep medicine. The Northwell Health Lung Institute was established to improve lung health in the community through prevention, diagnosis, treatment, research and education.
North Shore University Hospital (NSUH)
North Shore University Hospital, a 766-bed teaching hospital, is one of the cornerstones of Northwell Health, providing the full spectrum of clinical healthcare services for patients of all ages. Long Island Jewish Medical Center is a 583-bed teaching hospital, serving the greater metropolitan New York area. Located in New Hyde Park, New York, Long Island Jewish offers world-class clinical programs. The 48-acre campus features three major facilities: Long Island Jewish Hospital, Cohen Children’s Medical Center, and Zucker Hillside Hospital. Patients come first in everything this hospital does.
