At our site in Harrogate, North Yorkshire we are looking for a Laboratory Scientist with experience to join our Immunology and Immunotoxicology (I&I) department.

Working as part of our I&I, you will be trained in the analysis of pre-clinical and clinical samples for the Immunoassay, Flow Cytometry or Cell Based sections. 

The work in I&I supports high sensitivity biomarker analysis and immunogenicity assessment of novel therapeutics.

Responsibilities will include:

• Sample analysis using a variety of analytical techniques such as ELISA utilizing MSD, spectramax, and Luminex Technologies as well as Flow cytometry and Cell culture work.

• Supporting analytical method (and equipment) validation under the guidance of scientific specialists.

• Producing high quality data and supporting documentation within allocated timelines

• Organising studies in the lab and reporting back to the wider team in meetings the progress of the studies

• Performing the maintenance on the equipment within the laboratory.

• Organising and replenishing stock and general housekeeping tasks

• Sample Preparation tasks.

• Adherence to Good Laboratory Practice regulations.

• Willingness to learn

• Degree or relevant experience in Immunology and Immunotoxicology e.g. Immunology, biology, Biomedical science

• No prior experience is required, all training will be provided.

There may be an occasional requirement to work on some weekends.
