MyMichigan Health has an excellent opportunity for a Trauma Surgeon / Surgical Critical Care Physician to join the Trauma & General Surgery Team in Midland, Michigan! MyMichigan Medical Center Midland is designated as a Level 2 Trauma Center (verification from the America College of Surgeons and the State of Michigan).
Requirements
U.S. medical degree or foreign equivalent
Board eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Surgery or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery – or equivalent board in another country which is recognized by the American Board of Surgery
Applicants must achieve board certification in their primary area of practice within five years from the date of completion of their residency or fellowship training.
Completed residency in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care fellowship
Must have or be eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Michigan and a Controlled Substance License
Replacement for physician departure

This opportunity is full scope Surgical Critical Care. MyMichigan Health’s trauma program is supported by several surgical subspecialists including, but not limited to, cardiothoracic, colorectal, endocrine, neurosurgery, orthopedics and orthopedic trauma, thoracic, urology, and vascular.
