Our Pre-Operative Medicine Team provides comprehensive outpatient medical evaluation and consultation for complex patients scheduled for surgery. The team works closely with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, primary care physician and our consultants to coordinate care prior to surgery. The evaluation involves a thorough history and physical, ordering appropriate labs and imaging, interpreting data and determining if patients are medically optimized prior to their surgical procedure. In this role, you will also coordinate/assist with the multi-disciplinary Senior Surgical Care Program and support a broad scope of patients.Our new associate will excel in evaluating complex patients with multiple co-morbid conditions. At least 5 years of experience is recommended in Internal Medicine or a Medicine sub-specialty. Fellowship training in Geriatrics is strongly preferred. Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills are expected. Interest in leadership preferred. NO CALL DUTIES REQUIRED. We currently have two pre-operative medicine clinics at the Kaiser Sunnyside and Westside Medical Centers. You will need to be flexible to support both locations.Working for Northwest Permanente, our physicians enjoy:$285,990 - $343,000 - Projected Annual Total Rewards Value*

• .90 FTE Salary: $219,690 - $247,230
• 21% employer contribution to retirement programs, including pension (This is not a match; NWP contributes an additional 21% of clinician earnings to retirement programs regardless of employee contribution)
