Senior Patient Safety Specialist
Job Summary The Senior Patient Safety Specialist (SPSS) participates in the implementation of the Patient Safety Plan throughout Harris Health System. The SPSS supports the Patient Safety Director with serious reportable event investigation, training and collaborating with organization staff to streamline and improve processes leading to improved patient safety. Additionally, the specialist will manage grievance investigation and response, taking call for Risk & Patient Safety emergencies, and assist with oversight, evaluation and improvements to regulatory compliance in areas of patient safety.
