Supplemental- Patient Care Assistant II
The Patient Care Assistant II (PCA II) is accountable for supporting patient care activities, under the supervision of a registered nurse, in the clinic setting and on inpatient nursing units. The PCA II works closely with the charge nurse and staff nurses to assure patient care needs are met. The PCA II performs patient care activities, as delegated, and adheres to patient safety measures. The PCA II is proficient in the performance of basic patient care activities, medical terminology, communication, organizational, and computer skills.
